Teen Confirmation – Overview

Teen Confirmation – Overview

Confirmation is the Sacrament to complete initiation into the Catholic Church. For teens, it is a two-year preparation process that runs from September through May. Students typically begin Confirmation in the 9th grade and finish the spring of 10th grade. Applicants must supply a copy of their Baptismal certificate and attend an orientation meeting.

For parents of Confirmation teens:

We would also like to offer the parents of our Confirmation teens an opportunity to gather together for some great guest speakers. The speakers series will be offered once a month from 6pm-7:30pm on the Sunday while your teen attends his or her Confirmation class.  Help us to choose topics that are relevant to you by filling out this survey and dropping it off at the Parish office or email to to tkiene@sp-apostle.org.  Download the Survey for Parents.

For those interested in volunteering:

Our Confirmation groups need your gifts and talents.  You can select from a wide variety of leadership positions based on your interests and availability. Take a look at the opportunities for you to shine and indicate what positions interest you.  Drop off the form at the Parish office or email to tkiene@sp-apostle.org.  Download the Confirmation Volunteer Form.
