| Holy Days of Obligation | If the holy day obligation is suspended in the United States when the solemnity falls on Saturday or Monday. In the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, the feast of the Ascension is celebrated on the following Sunday. For Holy Days that fall on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, an additional 7:30 pm Mass is added to the usual weekday schedule. |
