FAQs

What happens after you receive my completed application?

Each child applying to our kindergarten will participate in the Readiness Program with our School Psychologist followed by an interview with our Principal, Sister Stella.  Families will be contacted beginning in mid-December regarding appointment times beginning in January.  All communication will be sent via email, therefore, please advise the school office of any changes in your contact information.

Interviews are scheduled in the following order:

  • Siblings of current students
  • Registered parishioners
  • Catholics
  • Non-Catholics

When will I be notified of acceptance?

Notification of acceptance or wait list status will be emailed in mid-April 2013. Applications for Grades 1 – 8 will be available in January 2013 (please see Admission Process for Grades 1-8 for details).

Is there an age requirement for kindergarten?

The age of your child is important.

Boys must be five years old by July 1, 2013. Girls must be five by September 1, 2013. It has been our experience that children who start school at these ages do very well and have a much better chance of enjoying their kindergarten experience.

What if my family is not Catholic?

We accept Non-Catholics and admit them into our kindergarten as space permits.
