Teens (in grades 9 through 12), who have already been baptized and received First Eucharist and wish to receive the sacrament of Confirmation, are required to participate in an archdiocesan-mandated two-year preparation program. This involves a minimum of five Sunday afternoon sessions here at St. Paul’s throughout the academic year for both Year One and Year Two candidates. At the conclusion of each session, the teens attend the regularly scheduled 5:00 Mass with their families. The sacrament itself is conferred by the regional bishop here at St. Paul’s at the end of the second year of preparation.
