At Sunday 9:30 a.m. Mass all children ages 4-9 are invited by the priest to attend our Children's Liturgy of the Word.
The children are broken into three groups (ages 4 & 5, ages 6 & 7, ages 8 & 9) and go to classrooms...one in the church basement and two in the school...where they hear the gospel of the day phrased so they can understand it. Activities help them discuss and come to a deeper understanding of how Jesus invites them to be his followers.
The children return after the homily to be with their families for the rest of Mass. There is no fee or pre-registration required to participate.
