Religious Education News for March

The season of Lent is like winter as we wait for the risen Jesus.  As we approach Holy Week, there are three very important dates call the “Triduum.”  These three days are the pinnacle of the Church year which leads to the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus.

Easter is our most significant liturgical feast!  The catechists have helped the children to recognize the importance of this liturgical time by reading the gospel, Stations of the Cross, and doing activities that revolve around the liturgical time of the year.

Please make every effort to attend the services during Holy Week. Here are the dates.

Holy Thursday, March 24th, Mass of the Lord’s Supper, at 7:30PM, March 25th, Good Friday, there will be a special Stations of the Cross for Children at 12:00 noon, there is also a service at 7:30PM.  On Saturday, March 26th is the Easter Vigil at 7:30PM.  On Easter Sunday, March 27th, the masses will be at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30AM.

There are no classes for Easter Break on March 23 and March 30.  Our classes will resume on April 6th.

May God grant you many Blessings as we enter the holiest days of the church year!
