Confirmation Year 2 Classes

Welcome to the Teen Confirmation Preparation Program as continuing Year Two Candidates.  We are delighted that you are taking this journey of faith together as the teens look forward to the completion of their initiation as faith-filled, practicing Catholic Christians.

Our first meeting is in the Upper Social Hall on Thursday, September 29th at 7 p.m. sharp. We will be done by 8:15 p.m.

To register for this program, the following completed documents plus the fee need to be turned in (or mailed to the church address, Attention: Bridget Lander) at the first meeting on September 29th:

1. Completed Registration Form (please print all data carefully and legibly. Thanks!)  If you are new or returning, a registration form is required. SPA Confirmation Program registration form
2. Program Fee of $150 (covers cost of handouts and other materials, stipends for guest speakers, confirming prelate and his associate).  Checks can be made out to St. Paul the Apostle Parish.

Please Note: If there are any financial or other difficulties that prevent completion of the above by the deadlines, do not worry. Contact Bridget at blander@sp-apostle.org to discuss alternative arrangements. Absolutely no teen will be turned away from this program because of finances or other pertinent critical problems.

2011-12 Class Dates:

September 29 – Registration meeting/class – Parent & Teen

October 30 – 3:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room – Class will be over after the 5 p.m. Mass

November 13 – 3:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room – Class will be over after the 5 p.m. Mass

March 4 – 3:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room – Class will be over after the 5 p.m. Mass

The Confirmation Retreat will either be on Saturday April 21^st and the ceremony the 22^nd OR the retreat will be on Saturday April 28 and the ceremony on the 29^th. The time and location for the retreat is still uncertain. As soon as I get the for sure date from the Archdiocese I will let you know. The ceremony either day will be at 5:00pm at St. Paul’s.
